Senior Spotlight

Dayjana Adkism

Dayjana Adkism

Dayjana Adkism is a Senior at Fort Towson High School and has been attending the school for 10 years. She previously attended Davis Public Schools and Hugo Public Schools. She plans to attend Southeastern Oklahoma State University and her advice to the underclassman would be, “Do good in school and don't have any regrets”. Dayjana’s favorite thing about Fort Towson is her friends that she has made along the way, and with those friends; she shares a fond memory of going to Camp Goddard. The only thing she dislikes about Fort Towson is the school work. Her favorite teacher here is Mrs. Needham. She participates in Student Council, FCCLA, National Honors Society, and Softball… softball being her favorite. If Dayjana could travel anywhere in the world, it would be Brazil because of the fun and beautiful Carnival. (by Jordan Frost)

Mike Krup

Michael Krup

One of our seniors is Michael Krup. He has been at Fort Towson since his freshman year. His favorite memories here are his FFA trips. He plans to join the Marine Reserve then start his own veterinary practice, and then retire in his late 50’s. Michael’s favorite holiday is the 4th of July because “the colors represent our freedom”. If he could go anywhere in the world it would be Venice, Italy because he would like to see it in his lifetime before it sinks. Michael also plays basketball; his favorite moments were the times he had on the bus. Michael says his kryptonite is seeing bullying and his strongest trait is his drive to exceed. One thing he would like to see at Fort Towson is better bathroom privacy and better lunches.

Allen Hutchinson

Allen Hutchinson

This is Allen Hutchinson. He has attended Fort Towson since 4th grade and his favorite memory is going to Oklahoma City and going to a museum. His favorite thing about Fort Towson is basketball and getting to play with his friends. One thing he would change about Fort Towson is a better lunch. Something he wants to do after high school is work at a power plant with his brother. One sport he would like to see at Fort Towson is Football. Some advice he would give to the underclassmen is “Don’t idolize anybody and try your best in everything you do”. He wants a normal, peaceful life and a family with a nice house and a good car. Marie David

Marie David

This is Mrs. David. She is a HS/JH Math teacher at Fort Towson. She has been teaching for 20 years and plans to continue the journey for a little longer. Mrs. David graduated from Saint Gregory’s, so she really shows pride in her work. Her kryptonite is patience, so she can't wait to get up and teach these kids. Mrs. David wants to go see the northern lights because she says it's a beautiful view to see. If she could meet any celebrity it would be Ron White because she loves his comedy movies. Mrs. David plans to retire in 2036. She has played basketball and softball and loved them both. Her favorite food is Mexican and her favorite song artist is George Strait. Mrs. David expects more confidence in the students and she really dislikes interruptions while teaching. Her favorite thing to do outside of teaching is cooking; she loves to cook. One thing Mrs. David would change about Fort Towson is increasing pride in school. (by Kennedy Gurry)

In her spare time, she enjoys puzzles and also spending time with her husband and grandkids. Mrs. Needham taught social studies for 5th-6th grade before becoming a FACS teacher. (by Dayjana Adkism)
